Guided snowmobile tours can take you on an awesome adventure in the backcountry.
Grand Adventures offers snowmobile tours with professional guides leaving from Winter Park Mountain Lodge, located across from Winter Park Resort. For those who want the experience of riding at their own pace, Grand Adventures also has snowmobile rentals at Beavers Lodge in Winter Park as well as Grand Lake. Trailblazer Snowmobile Tours’ trail system spans the largest permitted snowmobile trails in Colorado. In business since 1983, professional guides are experienced backcountry snowmobilers. Snowmobiling is not allowed in Rocky Mountain National Park. It is allowed ONLY along a two-mile stretch of the North Supply Access Trail in the southwest corner of the park. This trail connects the town of Grand Lake to a system of National Forest trails.
Unguided snowmobile trips may be taken on any trails that are open to motorized winter vehicles. Call the Forest Service for trail information, (970) 887-4100.
