National Sports Center for the Disabled- NSCD (970) 726-1646
The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) is one of the best known outdoor therapeutic recreation agencies in the U.S. For 37 years, children and adults with disabilities and their families have looked to the organization for hope and encouragement. Each year they engage in activities to learn more about sports and themselves. With specially trained instructors and its own adapted equipment lab, the NSCD can accommodate individuals with physical, cognitive, or emotional diagnoses. Four season activities include alpine and Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, river rafting, duckie kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, cycling, hiking, fishing, camping, horse pack trips, therapeutic horse riding, resort activities, and special camps for families, teens, and adults. |

SolVista Basin at Granby Ranch is about two miles outside of Granby. Open Dec- April with varying terrain, lessons and base lodge. |

Winter Park is open Nov 15, 2006 to April 16, 2007. With 360 inches of snowfall, terrain from beginner to expert, seven new trails and 690 acres of new access, it's no wonder that we're Colorado's favorite! |
