Activities include concerts, art exhibits, classes, craft fairs, theatrical performances, and other events that integrate cultural arts into the community throughout the year. The Grand Arts Council provides free concerts, art shows, opening receptions, Grand Lake and Winter Park ArtWalks, Annual Tombstone Tales on Labor Day weekend, and the December Holiday Melodrama.

The Grand County Concert Series brings world-class performers of classical music to Grand County. Special features are the after-concert dessert receptions with the artists. The Grand County Concert Series also provides programs in the schools and raises money for scholarships for students to attend the concerts for free. Concert tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults $15, students $8. Membership $60 for the season.
Grand County Blues Society

A member-driven, nonprofit organization brings national blues recording artists to Grand County. The society hosts events year-round and a summer festival. It sponsors a Blues in the Schools program for all the schools in Grand County.

2010 will be the final theatrical season in the Grand Lake Community House, home to the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre for the past 23 years. A new 300-seat theatre complex will open in 2011 at 404 Vine St. at the corner of Grand Ave. and Vine St. next to Grand Lake Lanes. Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre Company performs professional plays and musicals. The summer repertory season (mid-June to mid-August) consists of three musicals in daily rotation and a fall weekend production (through the end of September). Theatre tickets available by phone or at the box office on the boardwalk in front of the Community Center in the center of town.
Museums
Cozens Ranch and Stage Coach Museum, on the east side of US Hwy 40 between Winter Park and Fraser, has a full-size replica of the stagecoach which ran from Georgetown to Hot Sulphur Springs from 1876 to 1905. Cozens Ranch was one of the oldest homesteads in the Fraser Valley. At its peak, the ranch covered more than 700 acres. The white, two-story house now serving as the museum was built in 1872. The Pioneer Village Museum in Hot Sulphur Springs gives an excellent insight into the early history of Grand County, including the railroad history of the area. The 8,500-year-old artifacts of Windy Gap, which have revolutionized archaeological thinking, are a featured display. The Pioneer Women exhibit highlights the often overlooked but vital role of women in settling the land. There is also a display dedicated to veterans. The Grand Lake Area Historical Society maintains The Kauffman House Museum in Grand Lake. The house was built in 1892 and operated as a hotel until 1946 by the Kauffman family. A gallery was added in 1990 to house additional exhibits. The hotel is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Open daily through Labor Day, 11am-5pm.
